Amplified, a division of OpenDor Media, is seeking a Social Media Strategist & Community Manager to elevate our creator program and social presence. In this role, you'll create and execute impactful workshops for our creator network and lead community-building efforts through in-person gatherings and events. You will develop a comprehensive social media strategy and ensure content aligns with Amplified’s goals, blending creativity and strategy.

This position reports directly to the VP of Talent Partnerships & Influencer Strategy.

What You’ll Do:

Social Media Strategy & Execution for Amplified

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase Amplified’s visibility and audience engagement
  • Manage Amplified’s social media accounts, ensuring content resonates with each platform’s audience 
  • Supervise community management and assist in the recruitment process for future creator cohorts

Workshop Creation & Execution

  • Lead the creation and execution of workshops that educate and empower creators to grow independently.
  • Ensure workshops provide actionable tools and resources for content creation, social media growth, and personal brand development.

Community Leadership & Events

  • Lead and enhance the creator community through engagement initiatives and events
  • Plan and execute in-person gatherings to strengthen relationships among creators
  • Coordinate with event teams to plan and execute the annual conference, including securing speakers and coordinating workshops.

What You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in social media strategy and community management, ideally in a corporate or organizational setting
  • Proven success in growing social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn and emerging platforms like BlueSky
  • Expertise in content creation tools (e.g. CapCut, Canva, and AI-driven tools)
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track performance and optimize engagement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting compelling, engaging copy 
  • Bonus: Experience in event planning for large-scale activations or conferences

Our target salary range for this position when based in New York is $65,000 -$75,000 annually. In Israel, the salary range is 16,000 - 19,000 NIS/month. The final salary for this role will be determined based on careful consideration of a variety of factors, such as the candidate's exact location, experience in similar roles, and expertise related to the qualifications.
